Dartford Clay Shooting Club (“we”, “us”) is run by Dartford Gun Club Limited (company number 11771977), Joyce Green Farm, Joyce Green Lane, Dartford, DA1 5PN. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It explains what we collect when you use this website or contact us, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

  • When you visit this website: there are no accounts or logins. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived technical logs (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers.
  • When you use our contact form: your name, contact details and the message you send us.
  • When you call, email or WhatsApp us to ask for a shooting session: your name, contact details and what you tell us about what you need.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To answer you and provide what you’ve asked for. Lawful basis: taking steps you’ve asked for, and our contract with you.
  • To keep records for our accounts and tax. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
  • To keep this website secure. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

We never sell your information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you’ve asked for it.

Who we share it with

Only with services that help us run the business. They handle your information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website.
  • 99 Websites (Alex Bennett) builds and looks after this website for us.
  • Web3Forms delivers messages sent through our website forms.

If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also handles your messages under its own privacy policy.

We may also share information with our accountant, or where the law requires it. Some of these services store data outside the UK. When they do, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to any work: up to 12 months.
  • Customer, booking and payment records: up to 6 years, for tax and accounting rules.
  • Website logs: kept briefly by Cloudflare for security.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it.
